Mike Sabol holds the position of Director of Golf at Queenstown Harbor, where he is responsible for managing all golf-related activities on the property. Passionate about the game, he considers himself lucky to do what he loves for a living.

Mike started playing golf in high school and admits his competitive nature was a significant factor in pushing him to play and practice as much as possible. He became completely addicted to the game and when he found out he could turn it into a career, he was “sold.”

Mike loves being around the game of golf – talking about it, watching it and teaching people. He also has a lot of pride in the Queenstown Course, and can offer excellent recommendations for any golf product – from shoes to clubs to the best ball for your game.

Mike has a degree in professional golf management from Penn State University. He is married with two children and loves golfing and going to the beach in his free time.

SPENCER HENSLEY, PGA

Assistant Golf Professional

SPENCER HENSLEY, PGA

Spencer’s journey as a student of the game started when he was 16 years old and continued as he studied and graduated from Methodist University. Ultimately, he earned his PGA Professional Certification, solidifying his love and passion for golf. He has taught alongside and learned from many Top 100 Teachers and is Lynn Blake & Jim McLean Certified. Spencer has been assisting and running junior and adult programs for 18 years, and he is eager to help you become the best player you can be!

Spencer takes pride in helping his students learn to love the game more. His philosophy is: golf is simple…get the ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible. Learning to play golf and enjoying the game should be the same. Spencer’s unique approach toward player development is grounded in the idea that there is no one specific way to swing the club or hit the golf ball. Spencer tailors his instruction to his students and their personal goals.
